Battlefront3.net

Post bold predictions you have about upcoming games based on a rating out of 10. For instance, Battlefront 3 will be a 10/10. You shouldn't guess based on the amount of enjoyment you'll have but what the game journalist community will think of it.

I'll start with a short list:

Battlefield 3: 7.5/10
Modern Warfare 3: 8.5/10
Mass Effect 3: 9/10
Uncharted 3: 9/10
Resistance 3: 8/10
Gears of War 3: 8/10
AC Revelations: 7/10
Sesame Street Once Upon a Monster: 100/10!!!!!@#!@#

Anyone else have some predictions?

Battlefield 3: 9/10

MW3:9.5/10 (it's cod so it must be good... I hate the mainstream press.)

Well if they are supposed to be bold ill say bioshock infinite gets an 8/10.

CoD games get high scores because they are good games. Whether you hate Activision, Bobby Chotek, or the milking of the series (I hate them all) it doesn't matter because the games are still well built and fun to play.

It's not the mainstream press it's just a solid series.

Got nothing against COD, I think it's fun, but I wonder they they haven't given them the "It's the same thing all over again" treatment like they give all the other games that do the exact same thing.

As long as they add one more killstreak an iteration CoD fans will keep buying the game.

People like nostalgia and Nintendo brings that. Now even that's failing because of motion control which makes them seem like they're doing the equivalent of remaking the Star Wars movies in 3D. Old fans are furious, new fans think it's a neat idea.

Dont even get me started on Lucas. Hes completely forgotten everything that doesnt have to do with cartoon shows and the Clone Wars...

And yes CoD is fun to a certain extent... Besides there are other games that are just as fun and they get the same praise. Face it CoD is a casual game, just pickup and play for an hour and forget about it after a couple of months. Its not even CoD fans anymore its just about everyone who owns a console.

I would have to disagree. I don't play CoD online cause I'm a singleplayer gamer but my friends who do play it religiously. They don't get tired of an iteration of CoD for several months which picks up several months after they stop liking it.

From what I saw it looked pre-Reach in terms of visual fidelity. It'll probably improve however but from what I saw I'd go as low as 7.5/10. I'm sure IGN will slap a 9+ rating on it though.

Mass Effect 3 9/10 at least

AC: Revelations 8/10

Skyrim 9/10

Batman Arkham City 8/10

Halo Anniversary 9.5/10 like the original

The Original was Game of the Year of 2001 remember
