Battlefront3.net

when i checked the Ign list of games and saw that the secret sequels were gone, i nearly gave up hope. but, comic con is coming soon. if spark/lucas arts come on stage and say "we're making SWBF3, we're making it for xbox360, ps3 and (hopefully) wiiU, then i will cry tears of joy. comic con is one of the places the game will be announced but its the most likely place. if its not announced then i will become very afraid that the game is not being made. if sparks game is announced but its not battlefront 3 (although we have lots of clues that the game is in the works, so it's probably being made) i will give up all hope, but its very unlikely that it wont be battlefront. so what are your thoughts on comic con, personally i think its very likely, but anything is possible.

Again, I'm still having doubts. I think Spark is making a Star Wars game, but there's still really nothing to suggest a Battlefront game specifically. If it does turn out to be Battlefront, kick ass.

If not, I'll just keep waiting until I completely lose interest (which really isn't far off)

It won't be Republic Commando because they are making a 1st/3rd person shooter. It won't be Jedi Knight because it only mentions a 'shooter'. It won't be RPG so no KOTOR. Other than that, Battlefront 3 is what most StarWars gaming fans want.

Excellent points, however, what if they were making a game for a different publisher? I know that Star Fox is a 3rd/1st person sci-fi shooter from a AAA publisher, and stating the publisher (I.E. Nintendo) will give away the game. Now I know they aren't making a Star Fox game, but there are a lot of franchises that will fit that bill. We just have to wait and see when they will announce their project.

Well, if LA is the publisher, it would most likely be Star Wars Battlefront 3. Unless their making some futuristic Indiana Jones games with space ships, its Battlefront. However different publishers could exist. Even if its EA, we might still see Battlefront...

It's got the stage where I would now settle for

a. The psp squadron battlefronts to be remade on the awesome dual analog sticks wielding playstation vita

or

b. Battlefront 1 and 2 to be re- released as one of these collections everyone seems to be doing. This would be a great money making strategy for lucas arts requiring much less work than creating a brand new game.

It is however promising to see the support for battlefront 3 on youtube video comments for star wars kinect, unless that was just you guys :p

Yeah, I notice that too and sometimes on IGN and in the Game Informer website. It's getting quite popular. The leaked video has now over 1 million views.

Guys, if LA is actually reading these comments on other games articles/videos, they might realize, "Holy &%*$#-taky Mushrooms! George, we forgot about our hardcore audience!"
