I was surfing IGN to see what people think about the game and know about it.
Some guy mentioned that he pre-ordered the game at EB Games a while back. There are a few people claiming that they pre-ordered from EB and especially Game-stop with that "famous phone call".

He is probably 99% lying at this stage. LucasArts are strict when publishing and will definitely not tell EB Games about it.

He then mentioned that EB just recently found out or were told that the release date is in November 2011.

I just don't believe this.

Next time you visit a video game store, see if they know anything about the game. They probably won't but its worth a try.

You don't have to believe it. I'm saying that it's very unlikely EB Games know about it but it's best to ask them just to make sure.

EB games employees are just people. Maybe they aren't even gamers.

A less knowing employee could get Battlefront 3 mixed up with Battlefield 3.

Though Battlefield's release date is in October.

Business wise, it would be a ludicrous decision by Lucas Arts to release Battlefront 3 in November.

It would, and i'm getting annoyed from people claiming that they pre-ordered the game. Iv'e asked an employee at EB games and they tell me that they don't know about it.

This time I had and its not my fault that the source is wrong.

You're still right and most likely the guy got confused with Battlefield. Or the employee at EB.
