Battlefront3.net

Did anyone else get this email from starwars.com? It's about the blu-ray, but we already know the release date and I know Battlefront II was announced with the release of the DVDs. It's probably just more information about the blu-ray, but there's still a chance that something about Battlefront III may be present. Thoughts?

That gets me thinking. Assuming Battlefront 3 is announced this year, wouldn't it be great to see a trailer for it in 3D when The Phantom Menace arrives in theaters next year in 3D?

If I have to sit through The Phantom Menace again just to see a Battlefront trailer, I'll pass.

Yeah i got it too, but it looks like its just a release for a Star Wars blue-ray movie...
I don't get what the wait is though...the complete Star Wars saga wont be released until September, yet the wait is over on may the 4th (Unless its BF3 or TFU 3)

And why set up a timer? These things usually happen when something big is coming

Yes, I agree something big is unfolding itslef in front of us. Man does this make me feel like I'm in some dramatic Star Wars Fanboy film (which is perfectly fine with me ). I know we will be shocked by something I can feel it coursing through me. We will either be very happy with the resaults of this year, or we will be very, very disapointed.

P.S. There can't be a TFU3 because they cancled it 2 months before the second's release

Actually, it's not cancelled. That was a rumor, and it's not confirmed. They are apparently "figuring things out."

They do, however, say that the key is if they have time. It's been awhile since the second one now, so I think that if nothing is spoken about TFUIII through this summer, it will never appear.

Regardless, if this turns out to be TFUIII, I'm gonna rage so hard! I did not like the second one at ALL.

Very possible. In all the interviews, they state how the player will discover the truth about the clone (whether he is or not), and that's exactly what the game DIDN'T explain. It's like they stopped halfway and decided to release it as is with an unsatisfying last level. Oh well.

The reveal could just be the special features of the Blu-Ray Set, such as exclusive deleted scenes and concept art.

That's kind of what I was expecting. It would be disappointing but unsurprising.

Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the name for the bluray set and so is the name of the title of the webpage.

Well, of course it's the blu-rays. If you look at the picture in the email, it literally says "Blu-ray" on it. However, we've already known that the exist AND the release date, so it's something that is accompanying the blu-ray release (most probably special features).

Obviously the Blue-Ray set was revealed a while ago. Don't really think it is the special features. They would already be included in the set.
Anyways, 3 days left! BF3 most likely if it were to follow the pattern.

I hope so. I really hope so. In any case, there's only about 35 days to E3 if it doesn't get announced.
