Anyone buy it? Rent it? Borrow it? If so, what did you think? I am debating on it...

I don't know about PSP, but the PC copy works just fine.

Well are you talking about Complete Saga or Clone Wars? Many people have classified the game as LSW3... either way:
Complete Saga.... no
Clone Wars.... YES
Edit: Noticed you said PSP so its got to be Clone wars and i would say rent

Yea, thought about getting the Digital Download of it because I already have about 20 in my account, so I just need ten more to get it, but then again I want the PS3 version for trophies(you have A LOT
) and a chance of online play(unsure if it does
)

Do you guys just not play good games or something?

What's not good about it? I haven't found anything wrong with it thus far.

Did LEGO Star Wars not lose its jazz for anyone after the first one? Second at max? At this point they are just juicing the consumer.Kelevra wrote:What's not good about it? I haven't found anything wrong with it thus far.
It's not a terrible game, but it's the same thing (granted there are big changes that exist) again and with other awesome games being released I wouldn't be playing LSW.
To each his own I suppose...

Isn't that the deal with any gaming franchise? Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, Halo, Mario, etc, etc. So long as the game keeps being fun, what's the problem?

Guitar Hero should have relaxed after the third installment and now suffered the consequences by being canned. Call of Duty isn't fun anymore. Black Ops is just Modern Warfare 2 which was just Modern Warfare. Activision is an absolutely terrible publisher.Kelevra wrote:Guitar Hero, Call of Duty
Halo should take a breather now but Microsoft wants more coin. I think Reach was a good farewell but by the sounds of it they won't let it go to rest.Kelevra wrote:Halo, Mario
Mario will take a long time to die because Nintendo has found a formula that they can hide in any setting and sell games. I think Mario games are the one exception that can reiterate over and over and yet remain worth the price.
LSW does not have that value. Most games don't. I can really only think of Mario as an example off the top of my head. Is the fun had in LSW3 not the same as the fun had in any other LSW game?

Some of it is the same. Some is vastly new and different (like the RTS-type segments) But 'similar fun' doesn't really mean 'less fun.'

Tell that to the Guitar Hero guys.Kelevra wrote:But 'similar fun' doesn't really mean 'less fun.'

I hope they do leave it aloneScott wrote:

Played the demo and found that its actually really boring. It was annoying as hell to switch between characters. And to tell you the truth I could care less about the "Clone Wars". Its nowhere near as fun as lego SW 2. But who knows maybe the full version is better.(I doubt it)
Is that an ancient tibetan dagger in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
The demo was really a pretty bad representation of the full game... I was doubtful too, but it was like $30 bucks on Steam, so I just thought 'what the hell.' Turns out it is pretty friggen good.
Anyway, if there is one thing I don't like it's the visuals they put into the game. I think it's a bit too much with the light bloom and HDR and crap like that. It's friggen LEGO! (I think) it looks a lot better with all of that fancy crap turned off.
Does this mean there will be another game covering the following Clone Wars seasons, and then a Complete Complete Saga?
