the manufacturing number for the Xbox 360 is exactly the same as the one for the Nintendo DS version of Elite Squadron and the price is the same as a DS game

Yes but they put that as a placeholder. They can change the prices and details at will. Besides on my receipt they have (in gamestop alone) over 3000 pre-orders of the game.
