I believe the battlefront extreme 2.2 MOD for SWBF2 should be an inspiration for Battlefront 3, movie accurate clones, stormtroopers, rebels, droids,
realistic ballistics, movie accurate weapon models, Aerial vehicles on land maps, varied size maps(smallish-large), space battles, larger capital ship interiors with more walkways and interactive set pieces. movi accurate vehicles. etc.

That sound awesome... but a little off topic question: how and where do you guys get MODS for BF? Is it only computer? and does it have a danger of viruses for your computer?

Hi, thanks for reading and expressing your thoughts, MOD for SW battlefrotn 1 and 2 can be downloaded only for PC(you can get some mod maps for PS2 and Xbox but it requires hacking of the system and is illegal i beleve) from Star Wars filefront, just google, there you can also find MOD maps, and sides MODs thant change for Ex: change the stock clones into 41st elite legion etc., there are some MODs and maps that can be found on other sites such as gametoast
I would recommend you try getting the Conversion Pack 2.0 and battlefront extreme 2.2 MOD

I like Dark Times and Ultimate Battlefront a little bit more than BFX. Dark Times in particular since it adds several new game modes, including a space map where you can capture the enemy capital ship. Only thing I don't really like is that the health of all the units seems to be increased, so it takes a while to kill enemies.

If anything, all of these user-made maps and mods are the closest thing to Battlefront 3 we'll ever see.

Thanks for the info... but is there a good chance of virus or is it generally all clean?

The vast majority of the mods come from either Filefront or ModDB. As far as I know they check every file before they're uploaded for public use. I've never had any issues. If you're really worried about it, just make sure to scan whatever files you download.

Ok thanks... i'll have to check some of 'em out. I only have the original for PC but maybe i'll get the 2nd
