1.) Bring back the physics of the first game. Who doesn't love shooting a rocket at the feet of some dude and then watch them fly?

2.) When human characters die they should become some sort a rag doll thing, not just play into a set sequence so that every time they die they look the same. Droids should fall apart

3.) Better aiming reticle, especially in the 1st person portion.

4.) Space/Ground combat at the same time, no annoying cutscene when you fly into space.

5.) Bigger areas inside flagships. How fun would it be to fight through the corridors of a Starcruiser?

6.) Costume customization bites the dust. Loadout customization takes center stage.

7.) If you are going to have melee characters, you have to make the controls tighter and don't use the same aiming mechanic that you used for the guns. Also make the attacks more powerful and give them a wider lightsaber range

8.) ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!!!

9.) Match customization. Simliar to the first 2 BF's but expanded.

10.) More weapons.

Should be like the Halo Reach physics.

Haven't really played Reach, but if they die differently every time than YES!

I haven't played Reach either, but I'm going to guess what it is anyway, since many games tend to use it. The characters all have a predefined dying animation. However, that animation can still be affected by physics, such as hitting a wall, or going over a ledge.

That way the model doesn't just unrealistically flop to the ground.

I don't think it's an animation at all actually. I think when a character dies they merely become an object of the physics engine and depending on the force that hit it or the objects around it the body act accordingly.

Droids are different though as they must blow up.

That is exactly what I want! It'll just make the game so much more fun. I can just imagine myself blowing some helpless Stormtrooper skyward and then watch him flop around lol makes me want the game even more :(

Thought of a couple more:

1.) More vehicles
2.) Random environmental hazards
- Rancors
- Man-eating plants on Felucia
- Lava splashes that hurt you on Mustafar

3.) More Multi-level maps.

Depending on what your hit by and where your hit in Halo Reach, you get a different animation that is affected by the Environment and physics.
Ie. shot in chest with a DMR then whilst on the edge of a platform might cause your character to clutch at his chest whilst teetering off the edge.

Lava splashes that hurt you on Mustafar
Standing remotely NEAR lava is enough to kill just about anyone. I was wierded out as to why Kenobi and Anakin didn't instantly burst into flames when the shield failed.

But anyway, that lets me expand on the environmental hazards. Perhaps there could be larger scripted events that take place within the map. A sort of combiniation of Bad Company and Split/Second.

Say, at one point on Mustafar, a control panel is badly damaged during an explosion. This causes the shield to fail, and parts of the environment begin to break off, melt, or distort, essentially changing the entire build of the map.

Why would they die. They are jedi.

That would be pretty damn awesome.... If something in the map triggers a series of cataclysmic events.

But when you said like Bad Company... I just wanted to say that I don't want destructible environments. In the scripted sequences? Yea that would be awesome but I don't want my grenade blowing holes in walls... or spaceships.....

I meant a combination of the two. Like small, seemingly random events CAN trigger larger, cataclysmic events if the conditions are right. Similar to how things tend to sometimes unfold in Star Wars. Not necessarily Bad Company's 'punch through a wall' type chaos. Although a blast from an AT-AT or something should be sufficient to destroy most things.

OK yea it would be cool if things broke, but after a lot of damage. Like glass should shatter, trees and such should fall and then little things like singe marks where grenades blew up and maybe even a little terrain deformation. What I don't want to see is a bunch of small fully destructible buildings.

I agree with you ploplyguy...
And maybe holes in the wall where blaster shots hit.

So, you pretty much want The Force Unleashed physics engine?
