hello all people i wanted to let you all know people still play star wars battlefront 1 still goin strong but recently i had noticed and brought to the attention of my clan that lucasarts closed the support for swbf1 ps2 are there any people who agree swbf needs to be preserved?

BFI had so many online problems I can't believe people still played it. I think most players are on the PC for BF which is probably why they are shutting down the PS2 servers.

You could always pick up a copy of Battlefront 2...I think the servers for the PS2 are still going, but haven't checked since like August or something. The PC servers wouldn't surprise me because of all the modding tools and that the first two Battlefronts were released with Republic Commando in a Star Wars Fan Favorites CD to re-release them. Man I need a disk drive, my laptop lacks one! Damn you Lenovo

I'm hoping that since the PS2 servers were shutdown it's a sign that a Battlefront Collection is coming out for PS3. Probably stupid but I can dream can't I?

@ploplyguy, I have only dreamed of it! I thought my dream was so true I woke up at like 3 in the morning and was w00t! Then I noticed it was in the morning and cried myself to sleep xD lol Battlefront Collection For The Freakin Win!!! FTFW!!!!
