Should I?

Well like I said in my introduction, I am a Playstation fan. But lets face it, I am a Halo fan at heart. I was thinking after Christmas with my gift cards(usually get around $200 worth to one store like Walmart) and I was thinking I should pick up a 360 and some Halo. That is all I want a 360 for is Halo and Live to play with others. Should I get one since a 360 is only 200 at minimum or should I just wait for a sale or what.

EDIT just noticed I have Halo PS in my Sig lol

If you like Halo that much do NOT buy a brand new 360 for that. You can torrent the first 3 on the internet and if you really want ODST and Reach then buy a used one. Why pay all that money for a two game system?

Three games to be exact and anyway most of my friends have a 360 with Halo and have been encouraging me to get one and play with them. There are always after Christmas deals. Oh and torrenting Halo on the computer? Tried, gave me viruses and really slowed my computer way down.

I'd still buy one used.

Do you know for sure it was them and not something else? Limewire, other forms of stealing music, etc. You can always buy them dirt cheap for the PC (1-3).

Scott, Halo 3 was never released for PC, and I doubt it ever will. And torrents slowing my computer? It was one of the only softwares running on my computer and once I deleted the torrents and utorrent off my PC, it really sped up.

I may look into used after the holidays, or I may just not get a 360. IDK, I am just undecided :?:

During it's development there were many rumours of a PC game being produced by it's side and since I don't like Halo I never really researched it afterwards.

I'm not saying it wasn't them but rather that it may have not been them as I have never had problems with Halo torrents.

Just look for a used one. Kijiji, eBay, etc, are places to look.

OK I guess I might take a look at my local games store. Oh, tried eBay, only ones I could find were new, broken, and hacked xboxes  usually eBay is better than that. Anyway thanks

It's your choice to do what you want. If you want to buy one then go ahead. I'm a Halo gamer myself and I got my 360 for christmas one year. Halo 3, ODST, and Reach are really good. But it's your choice.
