Marketing ideas:

1. Bundle a multiplayer beta for the force unleashed 2 to last around two months before a six week deadline to release

2. At E3 announce the release date for the force unleashed 2 with a surprise Battlefront 3 trailer announcing the game and the beta to be bundled tfu2

3. Release Premium themes/avatars/gamerpics once the game is announced, every bit of cash helps and themes/gamerpics help buid up hype (yes people love gamerpics and themes)

4. Release a fully dedicated LA Blog to the Battlefront game with updates/screenshots and trailers with devs updating progress weekly, a new forum with moderators who know whats going on with the game and devs posting should update the lucasarts community

Achievements/Trophys

1. Have rewards along with the achievement/trophy itself, for example if you reach a certain rank or number of captures/wins you get a theme or gamerpic along with that 50g/silver trophy

2. Try and keep the "100 sniper kills" type achievements out for spamming/noob player reasons, instead have teamwork type rewards such as reviving fallen players

3.HURRY UP WITH THE GAME

I'd suggest even Lucas Arts telling the fans that it is going to happen and maybe even what developer. It would be cool to see a trailer and the general time of release. I don't know if Battlefront really has strong enough multiplayer to entice people to buy a game for the Beta. But we'll see what happens in June.

I sort of agree with you on the suprise bf3 trailer. That would be SWEET!!! Multiplayer for bf3 will be awesome, and if they take ideas from MAG, they could have 256 multiplayer battles with a full scale war going on. Have squads of men and eventually have them report directly to a commanding officer, which will be the most senior member of the battle for each side.
As far as awards, trophies, and hype, I like that and agree with you on that

I wish they could be turned off though. I never liked always having the elite rifle. I like the normal rifle at times. When you get legendary you should be able to chose what weapon you can use

I have to say though that the elite rifle kicked some massive tail, but yes, you can't keep up a constant fire since it is a stutter fire
