I've been noticing that a variety of websites have been experiancing down time throughout today, when usually only one or two will go down at once at most.

I've noticed:
Digg, facebook, twitter, and bt go down

has anybody experianced this or any more major ones go down?

Google was offline shortly yesterday.

Could be a botnet. I know Digg has just done a site wide upgrade so that is probably why it down. Who knows? I don't know specifically why if that what your looking for I wasn't even aware those other sites were down

google goes down every now and then with me. It's seldom but it does happen. I'm forced to use yahoo when that happens.
