Hey mates, I recently posted a story on how the only unannounced event at Celebration V is at 11:00 -12:00 at the digital stage with host David Collins. I kept exploring the site until I found a description on what will happen at the digital stage and who is David Collins. They clearly mention a "surprise" and the fact that "Collins has led the sound efforts on projects such as Battlefront II; Star Wars: Republic Commando; and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" and "His style is entertaining, relaxed, and informative, and Collins is always ready to make the most of whatever surprises might be in store." The link is below and to find this look under Celebration Hosts.

I can also guarantee that if they do announce Battlefront 3 it will be on the time and date listed above. Which is Thursday at 11:00-12:00 at the Digital Stage. The great thing about this it is essentially the beginning of the three day event.

Ill cross my fingers as well, BUT I will also be happy if they finally announce bluray releases of the Star Wars saga, a new multiplat RC game, or..and this one will likely never happen...a new Bounty Hunter game.
p.s...I said it once and Ill say it again this game will only make me happy if it has splitscreen multiplayer. That is the one MUST for this game. if not I will continue to wait until a true Battlefront game is released...or an awsome fan made wannabe BFgame lol.

.... i looked at that schedule, Thirty Years Later: A Conversation with the Masters.
George Lucas, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan, and John Williams look back on the making of The Empire Strikes Back in this new, insightful retrospective from Lucasfilm. The masters discuss and reminisce about one of the most beloved films of all time.

A new bounty hunter game just might come out. Lucas Arts just registered a trademark for a new bounty hunter game.

well it has been like 3 hours since the supposed announcement...im sure one over joyed fan wouldve tweeted it or something by now
edit* just noticed the post above...now Im crossing my fingers for tht to be announced
interms of BF3 im almost certain now it will not be announced it almost 5pm and absolutly no word on what was announced...no news on star wars website or L.A. if it was BF3 this news would be big and LA would be trying to get the word out after the announcement. theres just not enough noise to make this announcment likely. I really hope someone can prove me wrong but I doubt tht will happen any time soon.
looks like we will be waiting even longer for BF to be announce....let alone released.

Celebration V just ended yesterday, I think. And since there still is no news on "OMFG SWBF3 WUZ ANNOUNCED HOLY &%*$#" then I highly doubt Lucasarts is doing anything towards SWBF3.

Anybody think it may be announced at GamesCon in Germany? It's the largest game convention and is public. Wouldn't that make sense because BF isn't for the critics, it's for the fans! Fingers crossed.

no i dont think it will be announced at gamescon. last i heard the convention only really covers already announced games. the possibility is too low for BF3 to be there.
At this point I highly doubt BF3 will be announced this year. maybe next year but that prob wont happen either.
