Battlefront III=Battlefront I and II on one disk?

I loved all of the maps from the first two battlefront games, so I thought that maybe IF there's never going to be a console-based SWBF III, then there should at least be a next-gen console version of the classic battlefronts!

Think about it--every map we once knew and loved from Battlefronts I and II converted to fit next-gen consoles! Basically like the Metroid Prime Trilogy was released for Wii, but with the first two SWBF games on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC!!!
Lucasarts: If there really is no SWBF III, then please, at least release the first two on newer systems (my first battlefront on PS2 freezes way too much and my second is too boring after getting Legendary ranking for every medal on my service record)

Although this wouldn't be bad, there's also the issue that both games play differently. I don't think I'd buy it, even if they added in new features.

It would be cool as well. But it would probably be on two discs. The controls and graphics should be updated but gameplay is the same.

Maybe on the 360 but there is no excuse for the PS3 version to be on more than one disc.

That would be a huge undertaking. It's not easy for a game developer to just take the old stuff and change it, especially to port it to new systems. Games that get that treatment are funded pretty well. The GoW: Edition was not an easy undertaking at all (which is obvious in the interviews).

I would rather see time go into BF3, than another remake. Plain and simple.

Well of course but a remake might be all we get if anything.

To be honest I'd rather just drag out my PS2. No wait, I'd rather just start designing it myself.

I have one of the first 60GB model PS3s so I have backwards compatibility

How much do you wanna bet that when BF3 comes out, there will be a special edition version of it with next-gen versions of BF1 and 2?

I doubt it would be $150, maybe $80. I mean The Metroid Prime Trilogy was $50.

But It's BF3 with the originals.

Should be less than $100 still.
BFI ($10) + BFII ($10) + BFIII ($60) + BSStuffTheyAlwaysAddOn ($10) = $90.00

I don't care what price it is for the special legendary edition--I'm getting it anyway (I've already fully paid off my preorder to Halo Reach Legendary Edition anyway)
