One thing I really wanted in Battlefront is to blow up the Death Star. In the leaked footage, there was a possiblility that you could. I'll put a poll to decide.

would be quite fun. i'd do it... even if i was playing as an Imperial...

That's Okay but Iif there was a land to space map on Yavin or Endor and the Death Star was there. You could fly in it like in Episode 6 or do the trench run and blow it up. That would be EPIC.

That only makes sense for a base planet like endor.

They'd have to make it an incredably hard shot or it would be a little unbalanced.

But it would still be fun right?

Fun? sure. Necessary? I don't believe it is.

It could be made in a sort of conquest style thing where you destroy everything and the death star is the ultimate prize.

maybe, as well as doing the episode 4 trench run, you could land and destroy the core from the inside. this would make it more balanced.

And make more fun as well. I like blowing up things in video games.

on the opposite end, could they have the empire use the superlaser to destroy endor or yavin for their own kind of victory?

That could be usefull in galactic conquest.

Balancing would be too hard for it to be truly quality of a retail game. Let some mod team do their thing and create a Death Star level. I don't believe the Death Star battle needs to be recreated in a game. The movie encapsulated the action and intensity just fine.

I'd say only if the opposing team had the option to build some sort of super weapon aswell.
