Star Wars Legends Being Published By Activision!!!

Another Star Wars game is always on the way, but now we have an apparent name and publisher for the next project in a galaxy far, far away. Kotaku reports that both the Australian Classification Board and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office have created filings for Star Wars Legends. The mysterious game is rated M (in Australia, at least) for fantasy violence, and is set for a multi-platform release. It looks like Activision will be the publisher, but no further details are available.
None of this brings us any closer to finding out what the innocuous title could mean, and the name "Legends" could really be set in any of the major Star Wars eras. But we do know that a big Star Wars game announcement is planned for the Spike Video Game Awards. It seems likely that whatever Star Wars Legends is, we'll have a better idea when Saturday night rolls around.
It has an M is Australia now that is weird weren't the Other BF games T???

Obviously we now know that the surprise was FU2. Even this being the case, I do not think they will change the name from anything but Battlefront. Maybe Battlefront 3: Legends but that kinda sounds silly to me. It wouldn't make sense to change it because they would have to market it again. If they keep the name Battlefront, it would be more recognizable but the fan base.

I think that Star Wars Legends will be a cool game and will be something like (this is just my guess):
(This would be my idea) - It is going to be some kind of game where you can play online with other players. It would be where all generations of players could play, where you could have Darth Bane fighting Jacen Solo, and Tahiri Veila taking shots at the Brotherhood of Evil

When that rumor started surfacing I scooped up swlegends.net, I think i'll start developing it soon.

I wish they would make Star Wars: Republic Commando 2....that was a more mature twist on Star Wars and a decent shooter. I'd like to see a new tech version of it.

It was a very good game. A more series shooter game that could be influenced by your decisions on the battlefield would be a change from just two sides hitting head to head and one wins, and one loses. In undercover and behind enemy lines, those decisions don't matter anymore

Except a puzzle game. But seriously Cryengine 3 would be cool to see Battlefront using but I don't think it needs something so powerful. It just wouldn't look like Battlefront. I'd like to see the developer create a new engine. Cryengine is sweet don't get me wrong, it just isn't Battlefront to me. Republic Commando 2 would look nice with Cryengine 3
