What would happen if Coruscant (the Republic capital) had an entire planet wide blackout? Post any comments here.

This is just for fun.

The CIS would have an easy time sacking the dark side of the planet with an orbital bombardment since the sensor systems would be down (plus it's dark so I doubt they'd see them in orbit since the lights would look like stars), but I doubt the Republic would let Coruscant go down without a backup power generator to fuel the military district -at least-.

Exactly. Plus, even if some droids survived(that would be beyond understandable) Anakin would be right there to board and search for all survivors. He'd destroy them all.
