Since no one has a forum dedicated to books, I thought I might as well. Am I the only one who reads the SW books that come out or are there others. I would ask that you list your favorite SW book of all time.
Mine is FOTJ Outcast because it twists the series up and puts the gov. back to attacking the jedi order, leaving an image of Order 66 in my mind at least.

I began reading a Star Wars book but didn't like it for whatever reason. I don't read books a lot though.

I read The Force Unleashed when it came out and it was a good read.. Other then that I don't really have time to read much anymore.

Thats a shame
The book Imperial Commando is a real good book so far

I would recommend The first republic commando book to anyone if they have the time to read at all

I never really was that interested in the books but some of my friends like them. Especially the X Wing series. At least I think that's what it's called. If BF3 comes out or they do another theatrical version of the Star Wars movies in 3D I might get into Star Wars again and give the books a read. Which one would you recommend for people new to them?

Um, well, thats the problem. I would recommend the legacy series....but it is 40 years after the first Star Wars movie, ANH, and so you would be missing a lot of action of the books. There's like 127 of them, so starting is where ever you want.
Hold on, start reading the Darth Bane books, because they are actually really good

Well, I go by the books that are on the inside cover of new star wars novels. The list is 127 or 128 books long. That list is the official star wars novel timeline. Not to say that the kid books and comics aren't there, but they don't "count" toward the novel list. Because of this, the legacy book isn't there.

Well, they may have missed it, or they were too lazy too put it on the list. None of the new novels are written by Jude Watson. It's a great book.

I don't think they would miss one after adding so many books to the list
