German games-newspages claim that Obsidian Entertainment (the minds behind Knights of the old Republic II) reached out to Lucasarts and Disney, presenting them a concept for a Star Wars related game set in between Episode III and IV. Obsidian representatives say this concept is under the top 3 games they imagined in the past.

Sounds pretty awesome to me.

Please develop it Obsidian! I loved KOTOR II and another Star Wars RPG... well... maybe it could bring Star Wars video games back from the brink...

If it gets the greenlight, I hope they are given the time and resources they need so we don't end up in another KoTOR II situation.
