I was just thinking with the recent announcement of Star Wars 1313 who is to say that this game is NOT battlefront 3. Heck we all know that there was a battlefront online in the works and then it got scrapped. What if it got scrapped because it was more feasible to include it as an online multiuplayer mode for another star wars game. Just because 1313 is a "cinematic 3rd person action adventure" doesnt mean it is single player only. We could have battlefront 3 be included as a multiplayer mode for the game. or atleast a spirtual BF3

This just came to mind because I have been replaying the old BF games on pc and it hit me that playing this games solo doesnt have that much of a lasting appeal or even a story. Unless they add a dedicated campaign such as how COD, Halo, Killzone etc battlefront 3 cannot survive in todays market. yeah those games may not have ground breaking stories but when looking at their add campaigns the story usually takes center stage with multiplay details trickling in afterwards.


and with every game nowadays having some sort of mulitplayer I can almost guarentee this will be no different and lucas arts is more than likely to take some aspects out of the battlefront series t draw in a bigger crowd.

Battlefront had multiplayer? I think I've played a total of 1 online match in all the years I've owned Battlefront.

They could very well tack on some Battlefront-like multiplayer mode, but it wouldn't be the same as having an entire Battlefront game.

If it wasn't for this and other details and we just had the 3rd person action adventure line then yes, it could be. It"s not though

Maybe I'm being unfair though and LucasArts is just letting idiots run their PR department. I'll wait til Monday's reveal on it before I start going nuts about things.

Damn. I didn't watch the Spike announcement so I wouldn't know.

I think this should have multiplayer as well. We've haven't had a descent star wars multiplayer game since BF2.

It won't be your Battlefront.
