Star Wars Facebook Page Announces a New Game?!

Hey everybody! I just made an account here on battlefront3.net so I could share some important news with you!
About 2 hours ago the official Star Wars Facebook page posted this:
"Riddle:
What is something that will be announced by Spike, fully unveiled at the E3 Expo, and has to do with Star Wars gaming?
The answer to the riddle will be yours - tune into Spike this May 31st at 10pm PST."
Pretty exciting right? Could this really be the Star Wars Battlefront 3 everyone has been waiting for? I sure hope so, but only time will tell...

My hopes have gone far south over the years concerning Battlefront 3. We know that LucasArts has something slated for E3, though. Possibly multiple somethings.
I'd be glad to see anything decent.

Unfortunately this new game doesn't look like it will be Battlefront 3 since the official press release states that it will be the first of a new "Game Franchise".

I believe this new Star Wars game/franchise we'll be seeing at E3 will be the one Clint Hocking has been working on for the past few years at LucasArts.
To support this, a particular paragraph in the press release reads:
"On June 4, the eve of E3 2012, viewers will get to enjoy the live world gameplay premiere of the new “Star Wars” property during Spike’s “E3 All Access Live” primetime special beginning at 10:00 pm ET/7:00 pm PT. The project’s creative director will join the “All Access” team live in-studio to debut footage of the game and will answer questions from fans in real-time through the show’s interactive and social media hub operated by social media correspondent, Justine Ezarik."
On Clint Hocking's LinkedIn page, it says he is currenty the Creative Director at LucasArts, and as of this moment I don't know of any other Creative Director working at the company.

A new franchise but with battlefront gameplay. That can still happen.

Considering how all these new "super-duper franchises" by LA turned out in these recent years,I cant really say we can expect anything that would live up to things like SWBF RC,XvT and JK.
But lets just hope its something that would appeal just as good as the stuff that came out during the Glory Days,who knows,I mean how lower can LA go after the BS they've thrown so far
