Since a bunch of people on this forum know the answer to this question. What is an i5 or i7 core. How is it different than a Core Duo. Does it have like 7 different cores or what?

I'll take a guess that they are series of intel processors?

Core i5 is a brand name used by Intel for several new processors. It is positioned between the mainstream Core i3 & Core 2 and the high-end Core i7 & Xeon brands.

I've never heard of intel xeon. Now that we're talking processors, is the processor in the alienware m11x alright?
I've heard really good things about it, but I don't have one, so couldn't tell you from experience
