Tim Longo, the director of Republic Commando, has been re-hired by LucasArts

This piles on top of news that LA leases Unreal Engine 3, and LA renewing BFIII's website and copyright.

You don't renew a copyright, that's good for many years now, and likely to be extended indefinitely due to Mickey Mouse. Copyright is given (in the US) upon creation, no need to register. Renewing a website is nothing, it costs nothing, and it just saves them the headache of having to get it off of a domain squatter. Most companies do that. Nothing to infer from those actions.
