Spark are making the new Lost Planet.

I am actually probably going to cry while facedesking.

I was shocked for a moment so I've checked the details and it's a first person action/adventure horror genre right? With horro elements and only for Xbox 360 and PS3 like it is discribed on sparks pages by their second project.
But it's in preproduction and still leaked before the first one lol.
Well it looks awesome anyway.

Lost planet is 3rd person.
I own the 2nd part of it and in my opinion, the game is awful.
There also isn't any horror (except of the so-called "monsters") inside...
Furthermore they say in the article that it's out due "early 2013". I don't think Spark Unlimited or any other major developer could create a game in one year.

oddly enough Im pretty sure I called this a few years ago though I dont know how to check post info.

well it does fit the bill the for sci-fi shooter with a highly critical audience. its got aliens, humans and robots (mechs) more than likely added some melee weapons that covers sword fighting. Its got a number in it. revealing the publisher would have given the game. highyl doubtful this is sparks second game as that is in preproduction and lost planet is slated for next year if the rumors are to be believed and of course lost planet is NOT a horror game, just a sci fi shooter.

looks like spark was just messing with everyone and using all this battlefront 3 rumors as nothing more than exposure.

I already contacted Spark Unlimited...
I think they/ their publisher may find something to capitalize on the leak; so they could very well be saying something.

Yep well, I am seeing some comments that are making a valid point, it is possible that Project 2, has been brought forward and announced before Project 1, there is also that fact that this was not meant to be shown yet so...

In addition this game is only for PS3 and Xbox 360 and look at their jobdiscription! Second project!

This is an opportunity for you to have a hand in creating a bold new take on 3rd person action slasher with horror elements for the PS3 and Xbox360.
