What's the deal with Mass Effect's ending people have been talking about?

A lot of people thought it had no closure to most of the characters like Squadmates or your Shepard's love interest.

I actually didn't mind the ending.

Apparently this is some of the endings in a nutshell.

Remaining relevant, here are all of Mass Effect 3's endings.

In short, every single decision you made in each game is ignored and you essentially get the exact same thing no matter what, along with a completely nonsensical explanation and conclusion.

Normally I'm not one to complain about this sort of thing, I'm on a friggen Star Wars website for heaven's sake... but this was just severely stupid in almost every way.

i heard everyone in the universe dies at the end which i think is kinda of smart for bioware for doing that because everyone thinks that it will be a happy epic ending, but everyone dies

In one ending

The 'everyone dies' ending is one of the 'bad' endings, the other one being that you outright fail entirely.

But even the 'good' ones are extremely similar, and bring almost no closure to anything.
