Space to land maps

You could get in a ship and fly out of your hangar in space and then go down and see another battle raging on the planet...or vice versa. If I'm not mistaken, these maps were featured in a SWBFIII trailer a while back.
A SWBF2 modder once succeeded in making some of these, and you can get them
here. You just put it in your addon folder if you're familiar with installing new maps.
Anyway, ideas for space-ground battles? I think it'd be awesome!

To be honest this is a must have. If they don't put this into the game people will rage. After flirting with us with that old preview of them being able to do it years ago it should happen now. Landing craft for not just space but space to land will be critical in my opinion but i believe that not all craft should be able to go down to the ground. Maybe only landing craft are able to or small fighters?

In the "trailer" that was released, you could already fly into space from a ground battle.

If Spark Unlimited is making Battlefront 3, I'll bet they tried very hard to get this feature into their game. Unfortunately, from information a while back, the technology to implement this feature in the game died with the original Battlefront 3 project.
Maybe Spark can tweak it just a little so that this feature will remain.
