Space Battles
Ok so if this ever did get made, I feel the developer (be it Spark or whoever) would have to draw inspiration from the infamous land to space battles shown in the Free Radical version.... Or something near to this quality. This would be most important on levels such as The Battle Of Yavin and Naboo, as, if stayed true to the film, The Rebellion and the Republic's bases would be on the planet (or moon!) vs The Death Star and the Trade federation. I'll use Yavin as the example, the Rebel's main base = The temple, the Empire's the Death Star. It would be possible for the Empire to infiltrate the planet and capture command posts etc, as it would be for the Rebels to do the same on the Death Star. The Death Star should also be destructable, and Luke and Vader should be playable heroes. Ideally an amalgamation of the Yavin IV, Death Star and Space Maps on Battlefront 2, made as close to the film as possible... a Huge Map, but tech is getting there.
In short, the battles should represent the film versions of the battles, destroyable capital ships, Death star, heroes. I think the idea works somehow?
Also: The Millenium Falcon should be a playable craft on Yavin/Endor etc
Also: Pilotable Capital ships? Slow but powerful, like the AT-AT
Also: Useable Death Star Laser? Not planet destroying power, but could be interesting?

Land Battle Opponents
Open it up. I.e. It shouldn't just be Rebellion vs Empire etc. There should be different playable groups not limited to the 4 main factions
Examples:
Endor: Rebels + Ewoks vs Empire
Naboo: The Naboo + Gungans vs Droids
Coruscant: Clones vs Jedi Apprentices (i.e. after order 66, the apprentices should be a lot less powerful than heroes for example)
Tatooine: Empire vs Rebels vs Nomads (The nomads = Tuskens, Jawas, Gamorrean Guards etc, their hero being Boba Fett or any other of Jabba's Henchmen, hell why not a playable Rancor)
Hoth: Rebels vs Empire vs Wampas
Geonosis: Republic vs Droids + Geonosians (again maybe their heroes could be the 3 huge monsters that tried to kill Anakin, Obi Wan etc)

You get my drift! Haha

Heroes
I maintain that heroes would be a lot easier to beat if they had life rather than a time limit. Especially Jedi/Sith. Also they shouldn't be allowed to block EVERYTHING.
However, I think in levels such as Geonosis, there should be more than one playable Hero per level and in fact Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Anakin, Ki Adi Mundi and many of the Jedi order should be playable to reflect the films. However, to counter balance this, the Trade Federation should have a greater number of troops and better vehicles, and thus it is a fairer battle, again, as in the films.
Also, Heroes in space, for continuity if nothing else. Having Lando as a hero in the Battle of Endor would have no real advantage, other than providing a level of continuity to the films, which would be a pleasant advantage. Perhaps heroes have slightly improved accuracy in flight?
Examples of levels that should have more than one hero:
Endor:
Land- Han, Chewbacca, Leia (maybe with C3P0 and R2D2 as unplayable walking health and ammo droids, but you have to find them)
Space- Lando

Geonosis: Multiple Jedi
Death Star:
Empire- Vader, Palpatine
Rebels- Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan, Han, Chewbacca (again, perhaps a weighted numerical advantage to the Empire?)
Naboo: Maul vs Obi-Wan and Qui Gonn (with Anakin as a hero for the space battles?)

Again, as long as heroes aren't too powerful, the battles could still be fair, and a reinforcement advantage to the side without the large number of heroes = balance.
Also, have heroes such as the Rancor? No real powers, but high strength.
EACH HERO CAN ONLY BE PLAYED ONCE PER BATTLE
