Good point, but at the same time I can garuntee you that some of the battlefront fans who might've checked out Lost Planet 3 had Spark not said anything about Star Wars are definitely not going to be checking it out now, just out of sheer spite and pissed-off-ness.Terrabyte20xx wrote:While I don't like it either, it did kinda give them free PR. As for Battlefront, I bet it is being developed internally or in secret. E3 will tell us for sure(as always) and I believe it will be there. We all need to realize that Battlefront isn't the cheapest game ever, as it forced FR to close. You also need to realize its a 7 year old franchise. LA probably wants to focus on the future, ex. the Kinect game and the MMO The Old Republic. If Battlefront were to be made, I bet it will be an MMOFPS, or similar to MAG for PS3. I bet they want to go over the top if they make it, with large scale battles and such, and they may even need to make a new engine for it, and that could be why it is taking so long. No one knows. Thats just what I think.
And don't blame Spark. Everybody read into their tweets and such WAY too deeply. They used referenced from Star Wars, yes, but that never meant it was a Star Wars game. Spark could just have been watching the movies and posted a quote from it. Hell, Spark also posted news from other games, and it didnt mean anything.
Also, its just a coincidence that Spark is VERY close to LucasArts. Thats just how it worked out. Didnt mean they are developing Battlefront at all.
Lastly, Lost Planet and Battlefront have MANY elements that are similar. 3rd Person, action/adventure, sci fi, etc. Plus, LP3 is 3rd person on foot, 1st Person in VS, so that is why the description in 1st/3rd Person.
PS: LP3 is supposed to be more like Dead Space(as mentioned), so that is why it is more horror this time.
Do some research people!
