My school has just said that there will be a open network for students to use. Me thinks it's time for war...

But seriously I'm excited about the open network. Finally I can use my iPod at school. Although once the teachers know we can look at *expletive* on our iPods, I'm sure they will be taking them away... :evil:

How can they take away "YOUR" ipod???

Electronic devices may cause a distraction and they believe they have a right to take them away.

They might take them away, but who says that you have to let them "see" them?

Yes that's what I thought until I was playing Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars in class when a teacher came from behind and took it on me for a day . I think they played it too because it was on a different screen when I got it back...

I used to have a teacher that would play games with you. We played medal of honor on lan and everoything, and he only said if you get caught, its your fault.

Well I just found out it is not even an open network. It's a open network with a secure ID and password. This means it's for students but we can't use it unless we get permission from the one teacher who knows the codes and hasn't even openly said that he knows.

Do you guys use laptops, or are you confined to the schools desktops?

The open network is for personal laptops while the desktops have always had internet.

So could you find the password and stuff on a laptop that has been issued it?

You'd think so but no. Does anyone have anyway to access passwords? I tried to copy paste password but it was simply not possible.
