So far I think LucasArts hasn't had a perfectly balanced game so far(my opinion). :|

BF2 was pretty balanced... (not perfectly, but you can tell they put some effort into it.).

I think they should put custom characters (such as customizing their species, clothes, weapons, etc.)

I would like to see faction differences like BFI. The Vanguard shot twice, the Marksman zoomed in twice, etc. That made it actually make a difference when choosing teams besides the special unit. I would like to see more of this BFIII.

I agree with Scott. Those little thinks made a difference, but I'd prefer for them to go about it a little differently (I wasn't fond of the burst missile shot.)

Yes that is a good point. I would also like to see much more planets from the Expanded Universe (books, games, Clone Wars, etc.)
