Do you think Mass Effect has the potential to be the next star wars Slayer1?

Don't mean to double post but I just want to point out something I noticed in the past two mass effect games.

Saren (the antagonist in the first one) is more of the darth vader like character and Soverign is mass effect's death star and the citadel is it's coruscant.

As of ME2, the illusive man sounds like he's becoming more like the emperor.

Also the biotic abilities sound similar to the force.

Both mass effects were amazing in story and gameplay. I don't consider it the next star wars but i consider it the next great sci fi epic.

I doubt it legion, but it was pretty awesome that you could partially choose how to you own campaign in mass effect. Well..., maybe they could tie but I would not say mass effect is better...Idk. :9:

I think Avatar is the next Star Wars. I didn't see it personally but I think sales numbers say something and Avatar had them. With a sequel on the way I think it could be big for the new generation (although I am the new generation, I think...).

Avatar was a pretty good movie. Let's see if the mass efffect movie can beat it. My vote who will play commander shepard in the movie is matthew fox.

That won't happen cause it'll never be released. Game movies are never released and it seems the worst games get movie adaptations (Resident Evil for instance). Well actually RE isn't terrible but it's not triple A. The one game movie I want to see is Uncharted. It's different enough from Indiana Jones as it is not a family movie. It's not inappropriate either but is more blue than Indiana Jones is. I would be very glad to here if it actually was developed. As almost all good video games it has been opted for a movie adaptation but I don't think it will happen and if it does probably won't be very good.

Also, there are fewer Mass Effect fans than casual market fans (of any type of media) so Avatar has a huge edge of any video game movie.

It was announced a few months ago of a mass effect movie being made with Legendary Studios with some the lead BioWare developers help producing it.

Many, many, games have gone that far or farther and been shutdown. The Halo movie for instance was acquitted and replaced with District 9. Not trying to down you on the subject but I wouldn't get your hopes up until it begins shooting.

Yeah I know. Hopefully they won't shut it down. And I was looking forward to the Halo moive, sad that they temporairilly stalled it.
