It is vital someone ask them when they expect the announcement , we must bug them, we all know what it is we need to know when, can someone do it

@sparkunlimited If you're not working on BF3, why not just say so, instead of saying that you can't say anything. lol. We know the truth.

They are either
1. sort of saying they're working on BF3
2. their being nasty people and messing with our minds when we think they're working on BF3 when they're not. Nasty people, bad people, naughty

My guess is they are waiting on Lucasarts for the annoucement. but heres the thing didnt they just re trademark Battlefront for books and stuff as well?

maybe we should be bugging DelRey and see if they have a battlefront book being made

I wouldn't get my hopes up, it could be an old republic novel.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, it could be an old republic novel.

I dont know theve been pretty open with the old republic novels and they already have 3 , Fatal alliance, Deceived and Revan

Earlier today @SirTuggie whom you all may know as the guy who does the YouTube videos with updates about Battlefront 3 and who is one of the many that asks probing questions to the twitter account of Spark, @sparkunlimited, asked them:

@sparkunlimited So do you guys play the old game prequels a lot to get ideas for your new sequel? Has everyone played the older games?

And they replied:

@SirTuggie I would say all key people have played previous versions of the game. Not much playing of them now. We all play the new stuff.

He baited the question with the word "prequels", plural, and they replied that there were "previous versions" of the game. This certainly would narrow down the list of games and although there are a number of high-profile sci-fi franchises that have videogames, how many have at least 2 already in the series?

Seems to me like Spark took the bait and fell into the trap.

As a side note, when people say they "have played previous versions of the game", as @sparkunlimited did, it sounds like the concept/story of the game does not change much. For example, if I were to say, "I've played previous versions of the game" when talking about Gears of War 3, it would sound weird since the story changes throughout and there's no basic gameplay concept like territory capture as in Battlefront.

However, it does make sense if you were using it to talk about a hypothetical Battlefront 3. Just replace the word "game" with the title to see if it makes sense in that sentence. I may be reading too far into that point, but I do think Tuggie got them on the tweet.
