Or at least a good team based shooter, star wars or not. I really hope BF3 comes but I'll take a good team based offline shooter too.

Yeah. And for those of us that don't have good internet, it would be nice to have an awesome game that wasn't solely based on multiplayer capabilities

Imagine if they used the self learning techniques we are discussing in the Nerd-arama thread?! That would make some sweet AI but of course it's too basic just yet to use it for AI in game.

yeah, but if you had it, imagine a battle field where your enemy AI knew you well enough to counter everything you had or could get and simply beat the crud out of you

Well if you tweak the speed of learning or maybe when an enemy died they forget everything they had learned and start over. It seems like a lot of work for a developer though.

Natal and the PlayStation Motion Controller (PSMC) look like they will overthrow Nintendo's nunchuck. It will be interesting to see what happens this fall when they are both released.

I think Natal will be praised more than PSMC because of the no controller aspect. Personally I like the idea of the PSMC because I'm more of a hardcore gamer and think that Natal will be too much of a casual market. PSMC has buttons which seems like a dumb reason but I think that will attract more hardcore games. Shooters just wouldn't feel right without buttons. Also you'd kinda look dumb just swinging your arms at the TV. Just me though, I'm also in a wheelchair  so Natal would be less accessible to me.

Ok, Natal is going to be a big money maker. RPG's it will make your character for you. Shooters i don't know how they will work. But still natal will kill the wii.

I'm not trying to start a flame war, I'm just curious, how do you walk in a RPG world without a controller?

Command: "walk" "sit" "Kill!" voice recognition included with natal!!! plus you could use you hands to pretend. it can be trained to follow your hands.

I guess it could work. Maybe RPG developers will just say screw it and make controller capabilities along with motion control.
