I would assume Battlefront may be ported to WiiU, just not by Spark. Like how Savage ported Battlefront 2 to the PSP. Or Rebellion porting the Free Radical version of BF3 into Elite Squadron. Hmm, will need to wait until Comic-Con to actually see if we'll see BF3 at all(which we will!)
Gaming is a way to show someone you ARE better than them

i see your point.
also on one of the spark job descriptions it said they are making it for xbox 360, ps3 and pc markets.
it also says this...
We are in production on an unannounced high-profile, popular game property for next generation console release.
and the only next gen console coming is wiiu

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to the dark side. The dark side leads to no Battlefront.
I'm pretty sure they are referring to the next-generation as the current generation. Nobody has stopped calling it that since its beginning.gamerguymanthing wrote:and the only next gen console coming is wiiu

i sent an email to spark where he said the only publishers he know that are not interested in the wii u and microsoft and sony.
Think about all the publishers who have said they are working on something
like EA, ubisoft, activision, sega. Even Take2/rockstar, valve and bethesda have said stuff.
also at the start when the leaking began lucas arts was (apparently) given a dev kit.

Can you post the actual reply.gamerguymanthing wrote:i sent an email to spark where he said the only publishers he know that are not interested in the wii u and microsoft and sony.

Hi Charles,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Unfortunately, we are under a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with our publisher and all I can do is reply with a generic response:
We are the solely the developer of games. The publisher is the owner of said properties. All announcements, information and/or materials must come from or coordinated through the publisher.
At this time, we are prohibited from talking about who we are working with or working on either through affirmation or processes of elimination. So, I can neither confirm nor deny what we are working on or whom we are working for.
Thanks for inquiring. Sorry we can't divulge nor hint at what is going on here.
Regards,
John
P.s. Comic-Con is always been a strong show for our staff to go to. We like to share our interests with our gaming fans and this is one small way to find common ground. Many of the ideas and characters for games begin in comics and/or anime. Comic-Con, San Diego, has been a very fruitful hunting grounds for ideas. So, the countdown is a way to keep our eye on the ball and remember what it is all about: great characters and great fun lead to great games.
P.p.s. The only publishers I know who have stated that are not interested in the WiiU are Sony and Microsoft.

if you look at my letter you'll notice that the "if you want word on battlefront 3 it must come from lucas arts." bit is gone. in previous emails to spark i said asked them questions but then he started to talk about battlefront 3 even though i didn't mention it. so it shows that spark don't want to give it away that easily.
but that just adds on to the fact that spark are developing battlefront 3.
i agree with GeneralChaz9 on this subject. spark are developing it but it will be ported to wiiu by another developer.
also lego star wars 3 was released a few weeks before the 3ds but was a 3ds launch title. so i think the same thing will happen here

I think the PSVita will be getting the same treatment and the Vita and WiiU are similar. But I dont think we will be seeing another PSP exclusive.GeneralChaz9 wrote:I would actually want a Star Wars Battlefront for PS Vita. Or even another PSP exclusive!

Appartently Red Fly was working on a science fiction game which could have been a wii port of battlefront 3. But maybe Lucas Arts have said that the wii battlefront 3 will become the wiiU version. The question is who will it be ported by?
So basicaly Red Fly will probably not port it to wiiU as the team was dismissed. So Lucas Arts wants it on wiiU instead of wii

On topic, If they do make one, how do you think they will use the screen?

The wii betrayed me when i tried playing a ton of wiggle wand games and none of them had any creative thinking put into them... Oops pranks comes to mind when i think of allot of the horrible games they put out for the consoleScott wrote:Poorly.Terrabyte20xx wrote:Well I'm sorry for you.
