I actually didn't know LA was a developing studio. I know companies like Bethesda publish and develop but I had no idea that LA did.

Well, LucasArts would have to be developers and publishers, otherwise they would have ended up like FreeRadical a long time ago.

From what I understand with FRD, they just started having two dev. teams. So it was financially a risky move so when LA pulled the plug it was like me hopping on one leg. A fall is bound to happen...

This is pretty much the case for any video game. It costs millions to produce the next CoD blockbuster and publishers only have so much money to fund developers.
