It was the fastest star wars game that was sold.

It seems that I have completely overlooked the fact that starwarsbattlefront3.com is a registered domain which redirects to starwars.com. Yes it was registered quite a while ago but if the project was dead (or figured to be dead) wouldn't LucasArts just give it up? It seems that they have something in the works if not just ideas.

I hope it's not on the Xbox 720 or PS4, because they would of just skipped an entire generation of systems!

The PS3 is just hitting its stride and Microsoft just came out with a new Xbox...its safe to say there is still a LONG time till the next generation of systems comes out. if anything microsoft would make a new system to compete with the ps3 blu ray but I dont see that happening

The PS3 has been promised a 10 year life cycle which doesn't mean a console won't be announced in the 10 years but the PS3 will still be supported. Microsoft has already promised a long life cycle as well. I was surprised that the new box didn't include Blu-Ray but meh, I already have a PS3 with Blu-Ray so this wouldn't persuade me. If you wanted a console/Blu-Ray player, you probably bought one too.

I never heard about one... Are you sure you aren't getting mixed up with something that happened during the formatting war a few years back?

As far as I know. But they already released their slim version which seems to be the new way of announcing mid or late life cycle. It probably is a good sign Blu-Ray will not be coming to this generation of box.
