I reckon you deserve more than a $2000 computer.

I think it's pretty badass for $1648.29 (with tax). These guys build a good computer too. As I've mentioned numerous times, they built my current desktop which is running after 9 years.

I haven't purchased it yet, but have the quote and hopefully will in the coming month.

Let me know what you guys think :u:
Ehhh... No.
Generation 3 intel processors are not compatible with z68 motherboards... You'll have to get a z77.

EDIT: More research... It can work with a bios update... But you won't get everything out of the i7 without a z77 Mobo.

Al info I can find tells me that a z68 will work and that a z77 doesn't provide much more of a boost. What are your sources?

Got your PC yet? Or are you still finding the right parts?

I haven't had it built yet. I will probably have it started when school is over.

Going to have it built on Thursday. Am going to upgrade my graphics card (now that I've read up on them) to a GTX 670 and looking into a new motherboard or whatever Obi Wan was going on about.

Regardless, I should have an awesome dual monitor setup able to spit out Crysis at over 60FPS by next week. A bit better than playing KotOR on low

Good stuff :u: I was thinking of upgrading my graphics card too but I reckon it would be more appropriate to upgrade the entire system.

Once I have the money, I'll start thinking about it.
