Battlefront3.net

Looking at it again, its from 2008, from a disgruntled employee of unknown status. He could have been in QA for all we know. Of course Battlefront was being worked on back then. The 'source' is 4 years old, with information that was already rumored about anyway. There is no way that the 'Wii' game is Star Wars Kinect either. I just fail to see how it is interesting as it pertains to Battlefront.

Yeah it is old, but I just wanted to point out that all of those games came out (the Wii one was probably one of the Clone Wars games - Jedi Heroes or whatever) except for Battlefront 3, with TOR (on that list it was called KOTOR 3 - MMO) coming out just a few months ago. I just wanted to point out the possibility that maybe it's still their goal to finish that list of games, Battlefront 3 being the only one that hasn't come out.

Eh a list has nothing to do with it. Plenty of games get prototyped and cancelled before we even know about them. Heck, we aren't even suppose to know about Battlefront 3. Things would have been far different had that video never leaked out. Im not saying that Battlefront 3 isn't happening, but worrying about some list from years ago has nothing to do with it. The Clone Wars game could have been the Wii game, or it could have been something else entirely.

I'm not worrying, nor was the point of my posting it to say "HEY LOOK I FOUND EVIDENCE OF BATTLEFRONT 3 CURRENTLY BEING MADE". It was just to post something that I found interesting. Speculation is all about possibilities and rumors, not for someone to squash them all by saying "sorry, no." Sure from your point of view it might be logical to point out reasons why that list may be irrelevant now, but at the same time there's no hurt in saying "you know, maybe!".

Interesting that at one stage the two really big budget long awaited games Indianna jones and battlefront 3 both ended up turning into cheap psp games (staff of kings and elite squadron). Lucasarts clearly was struggling in 2008.
