I don't think we will get any information but I let him know what we want.
However here is the tweet answer:

@TheSWBF3 I don't know what the comment refers to. As a general rule, I can't/won't comment on any projects publicly, anyway. Sorry.
René René ‏ @TheSWBF3

@mworch @theswbf3 It refers to a game called Battlefront 3. Anyway you can't talk about it, but we still hope and wait for this game.

At least he didn't say "I don't know anything about Battlefront 3" or "no".

Nondisclosure Agreements usually prevent you from saying anything at all. He can't deny something existing, nor can he say something does exist. Even if there is some wiggle room, smart people choose to say nothing at all rather than risk losing their job.

Yeah. This reminds me of when I was an active participant on the Socom boards before Socom 4 came out. We all tried our hardest to get the vaguest of answers out of the community representatives (the guys who were on the forums talking to us from the company) and it was a really laborious process. Even when we did get tidbits of info, they were really really careful about it and almost made it look like an accident. One example is when someone asked about something being in the game, and he said something along the lines of "well I was playing a game the other day and that's what we were doing....and the only game I've been playing lately is Socom 4". Even then I'm assuming they only let him say that after giving him permission, and this of course was all after the game was announced, and we're not even there yet with Battlefront.

Funnily enough that game turned out to be the opposite of what the hardcore fans wanted. Hopefully it's different with a new battlefront game.

Tim Longo has been working since April 2011, the Epic Games contract was signed April 2011, it's now just a waiting game for E3 as it has always been the last 7 years. I don't know enough about Epic Games to know if they are an actual developer, or if they just help with the engine, but they are hiring for a shooter, which doesn't mean much.

I really wish that LA would at least respond to our twitter bombing. All I see on their page is crappy little kinect information. Even a "SHUT UP" would be nice. It would show us that they are listening at least.
