how about for a new mode, the two teams have a commander (gunry, ackbar, tarkin, and commander cody for example)The commanders are on the bridge of their capital ships. The objective is to assasinate the enemy commander.The fight would start on land. The infantry would get to their ships and rush to the capital ships, either to the enemy's or to their own for defence.Commanders have incredible toughness and can use all of the firepower of their ship to blast fighters, or can shuttle down to land and hide.A special class for this mode could be a bodyguard class like royal guards or Grevious' bodyguards. Tell me what you think.

Not a bad idea. It could be an advanced form of capture the flag or something.

What if they could be playable heroes as well and have to fend off the enemy attacking you?

not a bad idea. but they would have to be relevant heroes that are worth protecting (ie. not ki adi mundi or jango fett) but the leader heroes like yoda or palpatine.

this is kind of off topic, but is 2 heroes per team too much? because i remember the endor battle having Han, Leia & Chewbacca, but these battles aren't possible in battlefront 2. could this be possible or would 2 heroes be too overpowering?

I don't think it would be too much although they'd have to be hard to obtain. If the heroes started off in the game then it would be difficult, yes. If it was hard to earn them and then hopefully not too hard to kill them it would be fine. Balancing is key.

. Kidding but I would like more explosives in the thermal detenators. Also fix the mines.

and what do you mean by "in" the thermal detonators?

I want the detenonators to be more explosive like they are in other games. The mines were dissapointing.

The mines also stuck out like a saw thumb:
Driver: Oh look a glowing red thing in the road....best not drive over it....
they should have been less obvious and I think in a possible BF3 the AI should work together to turn choke points into mine fields so vehicles can't get through and force foot assaults.
