My buddy had an interesting theory about this new game, and it's that it's a test to see what the market is for a third person online-based battlefront type game. Once they get the "results" from how well it'll do, they'll decide whether or not to release Battlefront III.

I voted for the top yes. I don't even really understand the topic question though. Is it asking if the show is canon? Because it is, Lucas is heavily involved in the show and he has said himself (can't remember where I read it) that Clone Wars is probably the most canon thing outside of the films up ...

Am I the only one here that is actually excited for Lost Planet 3?... I loved the series, especially the coop online. So many great times with my friends on there! Hope Spark can prove themselves with this game!

Eh a list has nothing to do with it. Plenty of games get prototyped and cancelled before we even know about them. Heck, we aren't even suppose to know about Battlefront 3. Things would have been far different had that video never leaked out. Im not saying that Battlefront 3 isn't happening, but ...

Looking at it again, its from 2008, from a disgruntled employee of unknown status. He could have been in QA for all we know. Of course Battlefront was being worked on back then. The 'source' is 4 years old, with information that was already rumored about anyway. There is no way that the 'Wii' game ...

It's also an easy list to make up. Never trust the "I called someone" line when they have no evidence. If I had come here and said "I talked to a guy who had video of BF3, and here is what was in it" you would be calling me a troll, instead I came with video in hand as proof.

Somehow I can't see Nintendo promoting the idea of subscription online play. And I still think that game is WAY too big for a disc, and even for a console hard drive (but that depends on how big the Wii U's is.)
