As I'm sure most of you have heard, Disney has acquired LucasFilm for a cool 4 billion dollars. As LucasArts is a subsidiary of LucasFilm, I believe that means that Disney has acquired that too. Is that how that works, and do you think there are major changes coming for LucasArts?

See, I had a feeling that the reveal had something to do with that. In all likelihood, it's Republic Commando 2, but it could just as easily be Battlefront III!! Only 8 hours left.

Just 23 more hours until this all gets cleared up!

Well, of course it's the blu-rays. If you look at the picture in the email, it literally says "Blu-ray" on it. However, we've already known that the exist AND the release date, so it's something that is accompanying the blu-ray release (most probably special features).

That's kind of what I was expecting. It would be disappointing but unsurprising.

Very possible. In all the interviews, they state how the player will discover the truth about the clone (whether he is or not), and that's exactly what the game DIDN'T explain. It's like they stopped halfway and decided to release it as is with an unsatisfying last level. Oh well.

Actually, it's not cancelled. That was a rumor, and it's not confirmed. They are apparently "figuring things out."

Did anyone else get this email from starwars.com? It's about the blu-ray, but we already know the release date and I know Battlefront II was announced with the release of the DVDs. It's probably just more information about the blu-ray, but there's still a chance that something about Battlefront III ...
